Jazmine Sullivan

JazmineJazmine was raised and born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Pam, Jazmine's mother, is a former back-up singer of Philadelphia International Records. At the age of five, old, her father got a position as a curator for The city's Historic Strawberry Mansion in the Strawberry Mansion section, and her family moved into the historical landmark. The 2005 Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts graduates who is majoring in vocal performance. Sullivan performed as the contralto member of the youth choir, and she later joined the adult choir. His exposure to secular music was initially minimal "I performed solos at the church, and I was asked to go on an gospel label when I was 11 years old, but I wasn't at the point of doing that," she recalls. Then, McDonald's held a contest with children from large cities. I had the opportunity to sing "Accept the Grace of God" at It's Showtime At the Apollo. And the people were very enthusiastic. She performed with Stevie Wonder at his grandson's birthday in the year thirteen. Sullivan was 15 when she, was first signed to Jive Records. At the age of 15, she was signed to Jive Records. She recorded an entire album in Jive Records but it didn't get released. Sullivan was later dropped from the label. Missy Elliott was her producer on several tracks from the album she released as her first. One of them was "Backstabbers" of Timbaland the track that Elliott produced, was Sullivan's favorite track.
