Loren Gray

Gray had been inspired colleagues to embark on a social media experience, but she ended up having more successes than the others. Her mother downloaded the app in order to see her. Loren Gray's musical.ly successes spread across different social media sites. Gray's YouTube videos soon began to be viewed by random users, and then compilations were created. Gray's family members were unhappy at her achievement. They reacted against Gray instead of cheering her on. Some of Loren's friends deleted their accounts on Facebook to begin making fun of her. Loren admitted in an UPROXX interview "They wrote horrible things that I had no talent or that I'm disrespectful, that I have lip fillers and that I've had surgery. I was both anorexic, and albino. There was a lot of talk about how they going to drive me and I were in the school's restroom phone call my mom and telling her I was scared." Loren's mother was concerned about her daughter's mental health and deemed it necessary to remove Loren out of the school.
