Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress and has gained fame in Canada for her role in the film Bo. Silk was produced by Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were both academics. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. She is director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her mom watching working and going to the rehearsals for her plays. Silk was a small actress in commercials. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two early shows: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk moved in Toronto in her quest to act and improve, before moving she moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007, when they met at an Actorsworkshop held at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. The couple was married civilly in December 2009. After she had converted to Judaism and they renewed their wedding vows at the Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011 in Fredericton. Silk was blessed with the son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Her son Levi Aaron was born on May 13, 2016. Silk is known for her television role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was nominated by her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. In 2009, she was cast as the main character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk revealed to her followers that she was pregnant in January 2013 at a Showcase Season Three Special. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th that the series was returning for a fourth season of production. Fourth season premiered on June 4th 2013 by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN has named Bo's character along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about TV couples of all time. E! voted it as the most popular TV couple in 2013. Entertainment Television. Because of the show's popularity, Silk has gained a large internet following via social media.
